Family Values Shine Through In Local Toyshop

I have only one small semi relative to buy presents for.   My own family has flown the nest and the resulting grandchildren have done much the same, various universities being the temporary guardians.  So I do make the most of buying apt but interesting presents for the one little princess left.  I have scored major success and got top marks for finding unusual sticker books and magic painting books.  I source those not found in the everyday supermarket.  My method is to visit the local toy shop – the town where I live still has a proper one – family owned and run for over fifty contiuous years, making it the longest established business in the town.  It’s fabulous to see so many toys, puzzles,  games etc. lining the shelves.  There are little alcoves with certain themed toys or collections and through an alcove, in what used to be the shop next door, they’ve now got a fantastic model shop with railways, car racing and other sets on display and available for folk to try out!
